Always best to assume online that anything you post anywhere is imortalized forever. However for a decentralized platform I hope this is just negligence and not malice.
Edit: other comments using the email analogy explain this is just due to decentralization making global deletion impractical.
bookwyrm.social has a rating system if you don't trust Amazon stuff, but it's less useful IMO because it's a smaller number of reviews.
Driver support has always been excellent on Mint. My MacBook air Wifi adapter would normally not work on other distros, but Mint was out of the box fine.
Currently using a V60 + Aeropress. Going on holiday soon so maybe I'll bring the Aeropress along.
Think Mastodon or Tumblr
Using a Kindle Basic for a few months and it's pretty great. No issues with side loading via Calibre and it was only about $60. Ads on the cover are a bit ugly, but never seen any in the interface beyond the lock screen.
Recently tried Taylor's Colombian San Sebastian beans. I wasn't expecting too much but for $8/225g it specified a collective of farmers and was roasted fairly light. (Package said light, but definitely more of a medium). Tasted pretty unique too with some acidity.
Lots of royalty free books are available online due to being beyond their copyright period. Obviously you're more looking for current-era books which were intended to be free, but Crime and Punishment is a great example of a great read for free.
Watched Disaster Artist this week. I thought James Franco doing a stupid fake accent for an entire film would get annoying, but honestly surprised at how it doesn't just make fun of Wiseau and frames him somewhat sympathetically.
Alternative frontends definitely work for now. Otherwise Brave Shields seems to work for me.
