Exactly. I don’t fully understand this article but it seemed like it was saying the only way to solve the homeless crisis is to build housing as inexpensively as possible (in super polluted areas). There’s nothing new or good about slumlords housing people to farm money from the government.

Sorry but if there’s a for profit company “supplying” the housing I doubt their priority is the community their building in. We need social, subsidized, limited equity housing that gives people an affordable pathway to land ownership and wealth retention.

I’ve been on a Stephen Graham Jones kick. I read “Only Good Indians” last month and am finishing up “Mongrels” right now. OGI is great I def recommend it

I really liked Evil Dead Rising. The characters were fresh and interesting and the creatures were great too!

I’m very excited to see the new Insidious movie although I’m still watching through the old ones

I’ve been doing FNB in Los Angeles for the last 6 months. The community is great and we get lots of great vegan produce rescued from Farmers Markets!
