It's not anti capitalist, it's just not something you gain monetary value from. capitalism isn't a religion "thou shall not help others unless thy get money" lol, it's just an economic system. There's private social systems within capitalist societies all over the word. Shit, I donate to the development of lemmy but I'm capitalist. Being capitalist doesn't mean your anti helping people.

If the skill set you offer is in demand and the pool of people is too small to meet demand you make a lot of money for that skill set. If the skill set you offer doesn't require much, something that anyone can easily pickup, and the pool of people to pick from is over saturated -- you get paid less for that skill set.
