- Frieren was awesome but it's so fresh I'm not absolutely sure it'll keep being that.
Oh but it does (imo), I mainly read but I think Frieren and Atelier Witch Hat is the strongest running fantasy series currently.

This seems backward to me.
Since your example is media. Them relying less on ads means they would cater and align more with their patron. In my anecdotal experience creators with sustainable patron also tend to produce higher quality products.
As an aside I also follow Vox, or at least a few of their talent pool juggernauts like Johnny Harris, Phil Edwards, How Town (Adam Cole & Joss Fong), and Cleo Abram. Most also have Patreon I think.
Is there an example of this ?
What a fun read. Thanks for writing.
I wish Hebrew was easier to learn. I'm not religious but used to be a devout muslim until my 20.
I still retain a fascination with the historical aspect of the Abrahamic faith cuz of how intertwined they are.
At least in my flavor of faith "angels" specifically mentioned forged from light and Jibril/Gabriel have a specific role as messenger.
I always chuckle when reading something and realizing it so obvious my faith is the little brother of the three.
I have a phobia with butterfly spawn, the wiggly kind.
Can't look at it, don't wanna talk about it either cuz then the image pop up in my mind.
Don't mind the adult form or the pupa. Also fine with other larvae since they all mostly look the same.
Fully agree, I have masto/pixelfed client on my phone but Lemmy is the the one I used most by a long shot.
Idk why it is but on other platforms I feel like I'm intruding on someone else's conversation, but I can freely reply here no problem (to some extent).
Hmm good point. Never realized there could be connection with hyper curated algorithm and main character syndrome.
Now I kinda understand why "just look away" makes no sense to these kinda people.

Yeah what's with that? It's genuinely taken a back by the little details they put ( hair twirling didn't remember who, Komari leg swing when she sit at the table ). I tried watching other series they did but not one have the same treatments ( or maybe I just don't interested in the series)
I love slice of life / silly comedy with romance here and there. When I watch this it's giving me Seitokai Yakuindomo vibe but with better animation and interaction. Good stuff.
What's the controversy?
I have memory of watching it but I was still in kindergarten all that remains is I know Ranma can fight and change gender (?) If in contact hot water ?
So you haven't watched it ? Then just do it, it's good. Plus the soundtrack is a banger.
I will also say the subsequent series also trying something new everytime. Tamer has darker tone (iirc)
