Ja, Reddit fehlt mir schon.... Ich habe Reddit immer als Unterhaltungsmedium genutzt. Ich habe darüber grob die Weltnachrichten erfahren und ansonsten die neuesten lustigen memes und Katzenvideos. War super um nach einem langen Tag zu entspannen oder um sich abzulenken wenn auf der Arbeit nichts los war (sehr oft). Seit dem API-Ding benutze ich Reddit überhaupt nicht mehr.
Ich nutze Connect für Lemmy und es stört mich sehr, dass im Feed oft communities aufkommen die ich nicht abonniert habe, oder oft auch die ich überhaupt nicht sehen möchte (sowas wie Politik, nsfw, usw.). Falls jemand nen Tipp hat, her damit.
Habe das Gefühl auf Lemmy sind viele Kommunisten unterwegs, Leute die auf Linux und Firefox schwören, und die größten Feinde der Menschheit sind offenbar "Landlords". Dadurch dass es auf Lemmy weniger content gibt als auf Reddit, schaue ich hier auch nicht so häufig rein als damals auf Reddit. Aber im großen und ganzen sehe ich Potenzial für diese Plattform, ich denke nicht dass ich je zu Reddit zurückkehren werde.
