I just made a post (my first actually) about this today. I think it's better for the user to decide what they want to see and use filters rather than block posts entirely.

can I block certain keywords from showing up on my posts on jerboa/lemmy account ? in c/[email protected]

I just downloaded it. Would that be in the filter tab in settings? Not sure if that's for blocking keywords or for finding posts with a keyword.

I am tired of being blasted by political nonsense. I just want to look at memes and tech stuff while also not being scared of exploring new content.
