I always tell people that try to send invites after a match that I am not good and if you saw me near the top of any list after a match it was a outlier that probably won’t happen again for at least 50 more matches.

I was born in the early 80’s and I remember a lot more pro America propaganda when I was a kid compared to now. I had some friends from Albania and Poland in high school and I think when their families moved to the US they bought into the pro American media stuff a few moved back pretty quickly. I’ve been to Europe a few times and some people I met told me to not tell people I’m American they will treat you different. Some straight up said they hated all Americans to me.
Second drop seems like a waste of ammo. First one would have definitely taken him out.
I’m American and for as long as I’ve been alive I always got the sense that Americans are not respected but just tolerated. Mostly because of our military.
I wouldn’t be surprised if China joined in with Russia especially if they think they can benefit from it.
Random people arguing over something minor because of a random comment gives lemmy that good old Reddit feel. We all get Piracy is illegal could have done without the condescending tone but you do you. Plex is not just for pirated content. I spent months burning all my dvds and cds so I can stream them without paying for a service I don’t use that often.
I use Plex to stream music their Plex amp app is decent. My music is my digitized cd collection and I mostly use Apple Music so I don’t add new music but for stuff that’s not on Apple that I have the cd for it works great.
If it were here in America the anti-vax and right wing nut jobs will make sure that never happens. Either it will be a demon drug promoting homosexual behavior or they will say it’s causes autism in people that are pregnant if they come in contact with someone who is on treatment and get the drug that helps keep viral load at undetectable numbers.
Oh that’s right they are already doing that.
I’ve seen a few links to Twitter and they’ve loaded for me. I haven’t used Twitter in a while and deleted my account a few months ago so it’s definitely not logged in.
I believe Twitter changed the policy back to allow people without accounts to see tweets. I don’t have an account and links were working for the last few weeks.
I know some wealthy people that shop at Walmart and dollar stores for all their crap. It’s crazy how cheap some rich people can be. This lady is clearly a nutterbutter and probably isn’t in the 1% but rich people can be cheap as fuck so it’s not impossible for her to have some money. Claiming to be a 3%er highlights that she’s just some conspiracy nut since the 3%ers have been labeled a terror organization by some nations and I believe the US may have labeled them a terror org.
TOR is too slow for every day browsing. You will never get the masses to adopt something if it’s going to severely affect normal web browsing. I agree that more should use it but it’s just too damn slow.
