Not sure what your use case is (or your environment), so the most general tip I can give is to keep a cheat sheet handy while you learn. Don't start one from scratch, though. Search online for cheat sheets for your use case and then adapt them.

Yeah, I saw a post in the Relay subreddit yesterday that someone was able to use their own API key in their own Infinity for Reddit build. I might try that approach, but to be honest, it feels like at that point I'm trying too hard.
RedReader is still working and it may work long term since it's mainly targeted for the visually impaired which is an exception to the API changes, but usability compared to Relay is not even close.
