Was there a catastrophic event similar to the Reddit API change that led people to flock to Reddit? Or was it the appeal of the format?

I mean, what you're really seeing is my (new) starting point. It has developed over the years, but there are some years I don't use reddit and have forgotten some.

What did you like about Apollo? I used ReddPlanet instead. I wasn't going to pay for Apollo before I could figure out what I was getting and that I would like it. ReddPlanet had everything I wanted and payment was cosmetic and supporting lupeski.
