Welp, looks like every sysadmin ever is going to have to brace for even more cases of spyware disguised as document files, because Microsoft is just that determined to kill file extensions.
I got my name change almost 7 years ago in Arizona (US). It wasn't awful (the actual court date was a breeze, besides the waiting); but it was a pretty serious headache just figuring out where to start, and the court filing did take $300 that I probably wouldn't have had at another time in my life.
Yeah, migrating out of Reddit because of The Horrors. I'm averse to Mastodon because I have some trauma from my time on Twitter and hate the form factor for related reasons, even if my experience on Mastodon was that most people there were nice.
