Surely if that statistic is true it can't mean that on average after solar panels are installed people are taking more energy from the grid. I imagine it's also pretty easy to single out individual groups, like software engineers or something, who on average might use more electricity or reverse that and say people who use more electricity on average are more likely to get solar panels installed.

I only bring this up because sustainable energy initiatives, even individuals installing a handful of panels, should be praised. There's nothing better we can do right now than clean up our energy generation (and maybe go vegetarian? Lol).

I'm still hopeful I'll drop back into it and get past any crashes. It's a very beautiful game and I'd like to finish the story lol. Plus everybody went crazy for the dlc story and I'd like to see that. Wish I was you lol

That's great for you, I'm happy you got a bug free experience. Overall that has not been the case for most, you're the outlier. Maybe now with the dlc I'm the outlier, I can't say. Most reviews I saw only talked about the dlc and not replaying the main game.

But even ignoring performance, the original marketing even up to weeks before the release contained promises that were never delivered. That to me sours anyone comparing this to no man's sky, which has received dozens of major updates compared to Cyberpunk's one.

It's still a buggy mess for me unfortunately. It can run, but I bugged through the world at the delimane (?) quest and closed it again. I've got a top of the line rig and I was so tired of the game bugging out.

Maybe I'll push through but everyone calling this one of the best turn arounds is giving them too much credit. They promised us so much, delivered a buggy mess, spent years fixing it, released a dlc which fixed even more and added supposedly a great story, but they still fell very short of their original marketing promises and as I said it still requires resetting frequently enough to be frustrating.

Ya, idk about this. I feel like there has been early praise for most of the shows they've released and most of them have been excruciatingly bad as of late.

It's wild to me that Disney found a way to nuke an IP for me as beloved as Star Wars but the seemingly random flukes that are Andor or Mando S1 can't keep me around.

I just switched to Kagi because I liked the idea of a paid search engine who's aim was to remove the internet's clutter, not use any profile besides the one I create to show me results, and where I could weight certain sites that produce good content.

Reading the blog post the issues allegedly are:

1. Privacy is not guaranteed, like with a 3rd party audit
2. AI usage is growing not shrinking
3. The business seems to be poorly run and could have a short lifespan

Is this correct?

This video was fantastic and I hope they keep this series up. I'm switching to Kagi from ddg because of this vid and I'll spend time this weekend looking into ente/immich and all the DNS options highlighted here.

Super excited. It's weird paying for email or search engines given they've always been free in my lifetime but the services have been noticeably worse as of late and I miss an Internet constantly bombarding you with things you should believe or buy.

It's easy to keep up with if you stick with it, I'd wager. But as someone who's been out for a couple years now it's less about going in with ~perfect knowledge like in the past and more about making as good a decision as you can in the moment. Don't need to know all the neutral items, just need to read the three they give me and pick my favorite for the situation.

Idk, I honestly love the direction they've been taking. Feels like the meta becomes slower to solve each time they expand things and there's so much room to play casually now it's kind fun. Like these facets give, in some cases, completely different ways of playing some of these heroes and that's incredibly cool.

I grew up on the prequels. Yes they've got weak spots but they built a world that I love and with enough depth to sustain other strong shows off of it. I think 1 and 3 are great and I'm not bored for a second watching them. 2 is always the rough one for me, with the largest amount of cringe. Star wars wouldn't have held up for so long for newer generations if it wasn't for the prequels IMHO.

I sorta agree, as far as powers go I'm a little less stringent on how they get used or power scaling. But they show her still upset about what she did in Chicago. I get the sense she's still hesitant to use her abilities. We also see her struggle to hold a shield for very long both in space and in the ship against the hive mind. I wonder how much of it is she's just out of the game while she's upset at herself in Chicago.

It wasn't until Rex talked to her that I think we saw her forgive herself and potentially get her head back in the game. I think, although like I said I could go either way with this, that her arc was a bit of a Manhattan empathy pause. Hopefully she gets back to kicking ass soon.

That's interesting, I thought the thread was a continuation of the previous season's thread where Mark wanted to be like his father, but after the ending of the first season we see that desire reversed. We then get a whole season of him realizing whether he likes it or not he is going to have the same problems as his father and each scenario gets him closer to that understanding.

I would agree that the story beats to follow that thread weren't as... Episodic or cohesive, felt like we were juggling more balls. But I think the second season was just as focused on its message.

Either way, I'm hyped for season 3 and I hope they keep up the quality.

I don't know what "really bad" means where you're from but it surely can't be used to describe any season of Invincible. Season 2 was as rock solid as season 1, if you liked 1 I would imagine you'd like 2.
