I just started reading P. Djeli Clark's A Master of Djinn but I'm not far enough in to know if I'll really like it. So far so good, though.

Oh that's tough. I've only recently started watching anime in the last couple of years so I don't have much to draw from, but I really like HunterXHunter, Fullmetal Alchemist, The Disastrous Life of Saiki K, Way of the Househusband, and the new Gundam Witch from Mercury.
I don't think it's 嗎, looks more like 吧 to me, which also has question like properties. But you're definitely right about the question mark not being included until much later. The character alone says it's a question.
Wow that's super cute, I had no idea they even did that
Hello, I'm an English teacher! Originally from America but I live in Taiwan now. I spend my free time playing video games, reading books, writing stories, and watching anime.
This a thousand times. I mainly lurked on Reddit and I'm trying to actually contribute here. Sometimes I fear that no one will care what I have to say, but someone needs to start the conversation.
Very excited to experience this for the first time, but I'll be enjoying it in Tainan. I'm going to eat so much 粽子
City of Beasts by Isabel Allende. Didn't realize it was for young adults until after I bought it, but it's pretty good so far!
I haven't done this, but this is a great idea! I'm desperately trying to learn Chinese while I live in Taiwan. Next time I open Skyrim I'll have to see if they have an option for traditional Chinese characters.
Thanks. Not sure why I typed that lol
It's actually closer to 1.5 billion TOTAL speakers of English. Most English speaking people learned it as a second language.
Edit: billion not million
Will do!
