It (supposedly) was the symbol of the Rurikovich dynasty that ruled Kievan Rus and Novgorod (and other feudal states in western Russia that I cannot recall) during the Middle Ages. Now it's mostly used by Ukranian nationalists, banderites and other fascists. IIRC it was also used by anti-soviet reactionaries and fascists in Ukraine during the 20th century

The PCE (Partido Comunista de España) has actually a seat in the government coalition but they haven't been communists since the 70s. There are a bunch of other communist parties but you have to sort your way through the patsocs, reactionaries cough Frente Obrero cough, transphobes and revisionists. As in most other imperial core countries, the left is in a very bad state

There's a band called Ska-P (they play, as the name suggests, ska) that makes leftist music. I don't really know if they're actual leftists or just Western Leftists^TM^, as I haven't listened much of their music, but they're the only ones I could really think of 😅
