Here's a fun drinking game: take a shot every time image uploads break.
You're best bet is to use an external host (catbox, imgbb, etc) for images in posts, and to leave icons / bgs empty. For whatever reason, uploading images on Lemmy can be pretty buggy and this is the best solution.
Also are there size limits (in pixels or kilobytes) for image uploads?
Not AFAIK but keep it under 10 MB if you wanna be safe.

Well that's good at least. AFAIK the last time something like this was attempted, there was a critical bug that couldn't be patched cause it was in the blockchain, lol. (Hopefully you won't need to pay for reinstalls too.)
I still feel like using CF workers or literally anything else would be better than wrapping yourself in the crypto BS. Hell, I can see a resurgence in PC part hoarding if stuff like these become popular, since it could basically replace mining. But IG it's up to the individual devs to choose what to host their stuff on.
Probably V or Chaos. tbh I haven't played Deemo that much, I never got used to the gameplay on the original and I only just recently got the remake on Steam.

0.18.0 doesn't have captcha so that might be why that's happening. We're waiting on 0.18.1 to come out, which will add it back and shouldn't take more than a few days. If it's necessary though we can try upgrading and just use registration applications (until the next version.)
