Nice to see some work being done there! The Standard was great, but I don't know if the location was able to support it. Then COVID came in and the place was done for.

With the new development at Staebler and Park, and the sub being built on Liberty, and the wider focus of Sam Hill, hopefully they'll be able to stick around!

@Korne127 it was actually kind of a pain to find the link to make a comment, but it was funny enough that I figured it out.

I actually do follow a couple Lemmy communities from my Mastodon account but the UX is much better in Lemmy.

or just be a weirdo and reply to Lemmy comments from your Mastodon account like me. Then you don't need people on Mastodon since they're already on Lemmy.

@jayrodtheoldbod at a state level, the 2018 redistricting ballot initiative did what we hoped: fought gerrymandering and made the state legislature represent the population. It's still a battleground state, but we're seeing democracy in action.

As for Ann Arbor, it’s going to be Ann Arbor.
