well my hope is it pushes investment back.into leisure and third space usage, to encourage people back into cities for fun reasons rather than just to operate a keyboard which I can do from anywhere

source? even before WFH, even before the internet it's just common sense that if I need something from the Phillippines office or the London office or the California office while I'm in New York it's much more efficient to call them than it is for me to get on a plane and go there.

my parents angrily forbid me to do drugs or have sex and begged me not to drink to excess. Guess which activities I regularly engaged in.

I was threatened, beaten up, choked out and tortured in school for being "gay" (actually bi), and yet my (romantic) attraction to any and all genders even preceeded my understanding of any sexuality.

not my parents, not my fellow students, not exes, not internet strangers, not religion and not any form of media has managed to change my sexuality.

hashtag-not-an-engineer-but The vast majority of products you can just pull the LED. Don't resolder, just pull it out. If it goes badly, you can either just put it back, or replace with a "non-LE-"diode of the same spec.

this is the sturm and drang of every collaborative work I guess. Those led by a single person / company will produce a more streamlined but restrictive product. Those led by committee produce a more chaotic but free experience.

literally the origin of the term - that bugs (literally) used to get into computers and mess them up

for a given definition of "facsimile" - you might be right

that is exactly what happens. It's not like they start in with calculus in kindergarten in math class, they don't give 5 year olds James Joyce's Ulysses, and they don't make you run a marathon in your first phys Ed class.

Why wouldnt it be the same for health education?

there is so much money in the world, and food/water, and housing that literally everyone - theoretically - could be fed and healthy without needing to pick on the unemployed first.
