Using YNAB's sinking funds helped me get out of my considerable divorce debt. They're like envelopes you put money into ahead of time, for every single category/thing you want to spend on or save for.

  • If you need to spend more than is in the envelope, you must transfer from another envelope first

  • If a bill is higher than expected, transfer money from another envelope

  • If you want to make an impulse purchase that doesn't fit an envelope, make mine and transfer money in from an existing one

And so on. It's a great system, and I continue to use it even though I'm now debt free, except for my monthly bills and car lease payment.

The same goes with being called a liar.

Every statement I make is a lie.

Seriously! The new model and terminology have been around for a decade or so! Why aren't more people aware of them yet? throws hands up in frustration

But, having said that, now deny that you have an alcohol use disorder without sounding like you have an alcohol use disorder😏

Good. Now let the rest of the women in Texas who want to abort their fetuses do it.

I did something similar to this at work. I took a screen shot of a coworker while he was speaking and then made it my background. I sized it so that if I stayed centered, I was blocking him, and it looked like I was in his living room.

At the next team meeting, it was great to see the wave of smiles as people noticed it. Especially his😁.

Me too. But the other day, a junior developer and I were looking at some fairly old code, and I recognized the writing style in the comment as mine. We ran p4 annotate and, sure enough, I was the baddie.
