I just got an OTP package and all went well.

If the problem is theft by drivers, then the OTP is counter productive as it alerts the driver that this particular package contains a high value item, so they can easily swap it or fool the system.

Currently sailing to Mexico. You need to obtain an import permit for your boat into Mexico, even for short time. It's called a Temporary Import Permit, TIP and at today's rate is just under $20. You can ask for it between 11 and 60 days before arrival in Mexico. The application is done online at https://www.banjercito.com.mx/registroVehiculos/# Top right switches to english if needed.

You will need your boat registration (Federal Coast Guard Documentation or State issued Registration) Passport of boat owner

If the boat is owned by an LLC you'll need more ownership proof.

On arrival in Mexico you must contact immigration and customs. You'll need to fill in paperwork and present crew list and crew passports. Declare any alcohol, controlled medication and similar. Until you have sorted this you should fly flag Q, quarantine yellow flag. Once you have been given authorization (clearance) into the country you take Q flag down and replace with a Mexican courtesy flag, flown on Starboard side.

Failure to do the above can land you in major trouble.

I already donate regularly for websites that matter to me, so wouldn't have a problem with donating to my favorite instances. Somehow I'm OK with semi-regular donations at my pace, but not with mandatory subscriptions. I'm just weird?

Currently on a Samsung A51.

I used to get a flagship every other year, Samsung usually, but dont see the point anymore as mid range seems plenty powerful enough. I'm now closer to a 5 year cycle. Favorite phone ever was a Blackberry. To this day the BB had better features than any Android I ever had. Best in context phone dialler ever. Could dial the correct number from country code to area or city code from any place to any place.

I had a corporate iPhone. Copied the Outlook settings onto my private Android, supposedly it wouldnt work as I didnt let my IT crew install spying software on it, but it did since i used what was basically an Outlook web app. Then stored the iPhone in a drawer in my office and never touched it again.

The more I use it, the happier I am. I'm an old geezer who was tinkering with computers way back when 8K was an outrageous amount of RAM. This reminds me of why I became a geek to begin with.
