I think this is a good time to continue what they've been doing, interfering with Russian logistics and pressing forward on the front lines.

They could make an attack on Russian territory (e.g. drone strikes against airbases, oilfields, bridges, or other suitable targets), but right now might be the right time to hold off on anything that might distract Russia and Wagner from fighting with each other. Nothing unifies squabbling factions quite like a serious external threat.

I wouldn't be surprised, though, if Ukraine ops to antagonize Russia as much as they can, while leaving Wagner mostly alone. That would also be a sensible strategy.

Reporting from Ukraine is claiming that both Chonhar (car) bridges were damaged, and that the rail bridge a little ways to the west was hit too.

If this is accurate, Russian logistics have just become more difficult.

I think so.

There is reason to believe that there is some fairly universal mapping of sounds to meanings, even if the sounds are made-up nonesense: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bouba/kiki_effect

EVs tend to beat internal combustion cars even when the electricity comes entirely from fossil fuels, since the big power plants tend to be able to convert heat to electricity much more efficiently than a car engine can. But we don't get all our power from fossil fuels these days -- renewables, nuclear, and hydroelectric are all producing a significant portion. Depending on where you are it might be about half fossil fuels on average, but with huge regional variation.

We do need to transition away from fossil fuel power generation, but that's a thing we can do in parallel to replacing our vehicle fleet.

(We also need to drive a lot less and use smaller vehicles on average, but that's another topic.)

The main thing I use these days is a modular setup, with mostly a lot of simple, single-function modules. Heavy on Doepfer and AI Synthesis.

I have a collection of analog mono synths and romplers, and a DX7. I usually avoid mixing computers and music, but lately I've been working on a microtonal controller and Surge XT has been great as something that's open source, supports MPE, and isn't too hard to set up.
