I really love how the protagonist changes over time. Really captures the feeling of building off your predecessors. Still sad because I liked Oczy and Badeni.
This is going to be fun hehe
Nobody wants to live near Kikuri lol
It was disappointing and contrived. It started off pretty good but just kind of slid down to mid and weird territory. This episode didn't even make any sense. What kind of logic even is the memory shit and getting exiled.
Well that was disappointing. The confrontation was so weak, with barely any input from Alicia and Duke while Liz just keeps going on about stuff.
The ending makes it interesting though. I wonder if the book is like a record that changes the story.
Something's up with the principal. She has an interest in getting all the regalia, but getting the regalia isn't enough to open the treasure. She also wants to adopt Hizuki.
I mean there was also that weird nothing scene of the principal walking by.
MY FAVOURITE PAGE HAS BEEN ANIMATED!
There's another page I want to see animated but that's not happening this season. Here's hoping.
Me after that hiatus
Mabel is fighting for her life. Synergy is a word humans were never meant to say.
I had pretty much the same take on the series.
For the master’s tools will never dismantle the master’s house. They may allow us to temporarily beat him at his own game, but they will never enable us to bring about genuine change.
Not that this page showed beating the master at his own game, since it just ended up being more drama fodder. "Drama" itself just seems very broad.
I think this is a 10/10 but I still don't like it. It's a me problem. I wish the ending at least implied a possibility of change in the status quo. I think if Oshi No Ko criticising the entertainment industry is meaningless, then it would have been better if it didn't try to say anything and just enjoyed the drama. I realise how stupid that sounds but I'm not claiming that it's rational.
I'm considering maybe writing a more consequential ending on AO3 as a fun creative exercise, just to scratch that brain itch.
I think Anya was there when Loid talked to Desmond. I really want to reread that chapter but I can't find it.
It's also possible that Desmond knows that Anya is a telepath because she said it to Damien. There was a chapter where Desmond and Damien ate together after that happened. Ugh I can't remember which chapter that happens in.
