Unfortunately I see tankie sentiments expressed far too often on Lemmy. Case in point this very thread: https://lemmy.world/comment/11331168
I did see this kind of extremist view expressed on Reddit too, but far less commonly than here.

Pro tip, you need to include the /s when you make over the top jokes like that. There are so many insane losers that actually believe it, if you don't make it clear you're not serious, you look like you're one of them.
Hope this helps!
Is this something your average person could do?
This is a fun article and I enjoyed reading it. But, and this may be because I'm not a parent, this reads to me less like satire and more like a decent take borne of frustration.
IF he becomes president. Make sure you vote, people.
No, that would be obnoxious. I would just have it all in the present tense. If you're reading a page that was applicable in 3.5 but not 5e, just have a banner indicating the version it applies to. The Dwarf Fortress wiki does this and it's clear to anyone reading.
I took a look at their profile. Best as I can tell they're either a tankie or one of those "both sides" kids. You know the type. Not worth engaging with, IMO.
This is totally unrelated, but --
Wookieepedia is the only lore site that makes sense to be written in the past tense. The stories take place a long time ago, after all.
In contrast, I hate the Forgotten Realms wiki. There's no good reason for entries there to be written in the past tense. Grr.
Link me, brother!
I wonder how long it would take for the radioactivity to be indistinguishable from the atmospheric average.
I think so. In a way, it makes sense -- a lot of people are of the (shitty) opinion that if you take lewd pictures of yourself, it's your fault if they're disseminated. With lewd deepfakes, there's less opportunity for victim blaming, and therefore wider support.
