This is fantastic, thank you so much for compiling this list!

Injuries are tough. They're almost guaranteed in this sport and most of them are fine and go away with some planning and rehab, but recurring injuries are just the worst. My lower back and left leg have never felt the same since mine, and I doubt they ever will.

Good luck on your meet, if it's anything like my experience they tend to go better than expected - but I like to keep my expectations low so I can be pleasantly surprised if things turn out well.

Currently my lifts are 405/275/455 in lbs, and I'm currently moving down a weight class from 82.5 to 75. My best lifts in a meet are higher than that, but a back injury and burnout took me away for a while. I kept lifting the entire time, but more for health than for 1RM.

Now I'm back at it and would like to get back to my pre-injury numbers (around 20 lbs on squat and bench, and 60 or so on deadlift). After my back injury, I switched to sumo and a more narrow squat stance, which helps not aggravate the injury, but I'm definitely not as strong with my modified positioning. It's been a pretty long journey to even get to where I am now and I'm not in a hurry to hit PRs, but it would be nice to see another one some day.

There are a few YouTubers that have guides for most of the systems in the game. Ereklo_Gáme has quite a few, they have videos about nearly everything in the game. Scardor also has a bunch of videos going over the in game mechanics and systems. Coppersan has a new player guide and also has a ton of content for new and early game players. All of them also stream on Twitch and welcome new players to join their chat and ask questions.

As for written guides, there aren't a ton because they become outdated pretty quickly, because of that, I think YouTube and Twitch will be your best bets. Hopefully some of this information is helpful for you.

You added everything I asked for and everything else I secretly wished for! What an amazing update, you are awesome! The new icon and Material You theming are A+, thank you so much for all your work on Thunder.

Sorry if I'm missing something obvious, but I can't figure out how to get the side menu to pop out unless I press the hamburger menu. If i slide from the center left edge, it upvotes a post in the feed. If I slide in from the edge of the left of the screen, it uses the back button gesture and exits the app. If I slide from the menu at the bottom, nothing happens at all. This is on a Pixel 7 with gesture navigation - maybe it works with button navigation, but it does not seem to work with gestures enabled.

Thunder is quickly becoming my favorite Lemmy app, absolutely great job so far.

A few suggestions/wishlist items for me:

Is it possible to make it so when you swipe to the right on the bottom bar, it can open the side menu? Right now, especially on large screen phones, having to click the top left corner is very difficult one handed.

I would also love to have an option to click to collapse the text in a main post (the one submitted by the original poster).

One more minor thing, the icon on Android looks pretty bad, at least on a Pixel. A Material You icon (that changes with the system theme) would be amazing, but I would be happy with an icon that used the circle system theme instead of a square icon inside a white circle. Material You theming for the entire app would be even better.

Overall this app is phenomenal, I'm super excited to see how it progresses. I'm also happy to buy a premium version/donate, so know there are people out here that will happily pay for you to continue development.

I figure you've already seen it, but Max over at Orange Mushroom has all the information we have at the moment translated to English. Otherwise, I think we just have to wait for more info.
