I'll never get articles like this. First off, Biden, specifically, is the one creating a price war? Huh, only him. No one else is engaged in any way, shape, or form.

Second, oh, he's only doing it because of the election. How do you know that? What proof do you have other than timing? Did you read his mind? That's a guess at best.

Third, why does the president always get all the blame or all the praise no matter what? We don't have a dictatorship (however much some people want us to). This has always seemed to be such bullshit to me. I hate how people act like the president is to blame for every single bad thing that ever happens that's even tangentially related to the government and given all the praise when other parts of the government did things that the president has nothing to do with.

Four, there's so much bias on this article that basically just says "Biden bad even though he's trying to help. Doesn't matter. He's still bad."

The point isn't about getting them to stop, but to help more moderate people realize what they're doing.

From their tenants, they exist for a bit more than that. Their tenants are all about self empowerment.

I agree completely. 1/5 children are food insecure in my area. 20%. That's insane. We are a wealthy country and I'm in a major metropolitan area and yet, 20% of kids don't know where their next meal is coming from.

I don't know either, but it's absolute bullshit. As far as I know, unemployment only counts only those who are looking for work, but can't find it. What about those unemployed, want to be employed, couldn't find a job, and gave up?

You and me both. I love documentaries and when I get on a space kick, I think about this a lot. What did it look like? What's nothing? My brain can't fathom literally nothing. It had to be some sort of something. Almost makes me want to say that the universe does have a creator, but in that case, where'd the creator come from? (My favorite creation myth is that the Goddess danced and galaxies spun off on her dress. Makes as much sense as any of the others.)

This is actually really cool. I have no idea about any of it, but I remember watching a documentary a long time ago that said certain mathematical patterns repeat all over nature. What you said seems similar to that.

It's not Biden's fault unless you think the leaders of several other countries follow his directive too.

Democrats could run Jesus in Texas and he'd be lynched.

[–] dragonflyteaparty 1 points 1 year ago

Really? When? I'd love to see a source for your comment along with the majority Senate, house, and president of all Democrats who all agreed for a long enough period to actually get it passed. Please, inform me of this mass of Democrats who all believed the same thing.

Or you just think it's fine to force people to medical events they don't want.

You're deliberately misunderstanding. You are conflating choice with people wanting the law to be a specific way. You don't want an abortion? Don't have one. That has nothing to do with me. My potential abortion has nothing to do with you. Once you decide to make it illegal for me to have an abortion, that is taking away all choice. The law allowing for either/or is not making a choice on your ability to not have an abortion; that doesn't take away from you. You still get to decide to not have one.
