The prices have become insane, but I will never cheap out on toilet paper. This is a Charmin household gdi.

Also JIF peanut butter, and Hellmann's mayo.

Everybody is like "This is totally rage bait!" and while, yes, it probably is, this is more common than you'd think. My step-dad tried everything to get my mom to give me up. And treated me like shit. She stayed with him and had two kids by him, but I grew up being treated like an afterthought by both of them. Now I'm 30 and no contact with my mom, meanwhile he's six feet under. And he deserved it.

I love a lot of Faun's work. If you haven't heard it, Rosenrot is good too :)

I was on Ozempic for about two years due to Type 2 and a bad A1C. I lost about 10lbs but gained it back as soon as I switched medication. Everyone is praising these drugs as miracles, and they are.. But only if you're able to keep the habit they help you build. I'm now on Mounjaro, and I tried Trulicity. Both have done better good for me than Ozempic ever did. My A1C is almost normal, and my energy is so much better. I've also lost about 10lbs and am exercising more/eating less and building the good habits. It definitely changes your metabolism, and makes you feel fuller faster. So it can be a huge blessing if you need it.

My great grandmother had a cat named Dirtyface that outlived her by about a decade. It was an orange cat with super dark ginger fur around it's mouth and eyes.

We had several pets when I was a kid so here's a short list of fun names: Patches (a calico), Tom (a one eyed outside cat that yowled at the door if you let him in), TicTac (because we called him ticky-tack because it sounded like kitty cat), Twinkle (a really sneaky bastard that like to swat at your feet from under the bed), Drack (short for Dracula because he liked to bite everyone), Misfit (because she liked to squeeze her body into places she couldn't actually fit).

I rescued a cat a few years ago from a Walmart parking lot. His name is LittleFoot. He's polydactyl so he has extra toe beans making his paws super big and I thought it was ironic to call him that.

"But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you. Not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all."

When my son was just a couple months old I was still suffering pretty heavily from sleep deprivation. I don't think that really passed until he was a year or so old. Here's some fun ones:

  • accidentally put his diaper on backwards a handful of times.. Which always led to pee everywhere, or worse.
  • dumped a couple scoops of baby formula into my coffee instead of sugar, a few times
  • caught a diaper blowout of baby poo with my bare hands because I couldn't react fast enough to grab a baby wipe instead (in my defense, I had just laundered the bed but he was sitting on it with me and my immediate thought was just "OH god not again")

One of my best friends from childhood ended up on heroin shortly after I moved away with my bf (now husband). We still talked occasionally through FB or Insta, but a few years ago we lost touch, and shortly after that my mom sent me a newspaper article about his arrest. They found CP on his phone and computer.. I refuse to write to him. Despite growing up together. That's a connection I'm glad to cut, no matter the circumstance.

My father and paternal grandmother chose to be homophobic when I (and my cousin) both came out of the closet. "We'll pray for your soul, but you're going to hell." My childhood was bad enough, but to be told that after coming out was the final straw. I haven't spoken to either of them in years. I don't even know if she's alive anymore.

I mostly stick to simulators and farming type games. The cozy stuff. Stardew Valley, Littlewood, Starhaven, Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons, Cozy Grove, etc. Otherwise, things like the Sims series, or Animal Crossing. I like a lot of indie titles and digital board games as well - Garden Galaxy, Wingspan, Unpacking, Bugsnax
