"A transmissible cancer is a cancer cell or cluster of cancer cells that can be transferred between individuals without the involvement of an infectious agent, such as an oncovirus. The evolution of transmissible cancer has occurred naturally in other animal species, but human cancer transmission is rare. This transfer is typically between members of the same species or closely related species."

Schedule F appointment (en.wikipedia.org)

"A Schedule F appointment was a job classification in the excepted service of the United States federal civil service that existed briefly at the end of the Trump administration during 2020 and 2021. It would have contained policy-related positions, removing their civil service protections and making them easy to dismiss. It was never fully implemented, and no one was appointed to it before it was repealed at the beginning of the Biden administration."

Over ten thousand years, erosion or earthquakes can expose the entrance, contaminating the site. People could dig a well or prospect for minerals. The suggestion of underground activity could suggest to them that it is a good place to mine, or even that there's a tomb or other interesting artifacts

Ah that's a good rabbit hole. Love to see it.

The biggest bummer is when they democratize and suddenly the rug gets pulled out and it's like democratization never happened. Such as Tunisia and Myanmar

I love that you picked a true deep cut in terms of nut lore. A+

Taste is subjective, but even so, the history of so many people singling out this phrase as beautiful is itself interesting

Considered by many to be a highly euphonic phrase.

These three words go well together. Kinda like cellar door. Aesthetically pleasing.

This is a big problem in actual research too

This was the one reason I wasn't cheering for the filibuster to be repealed. The 60 vote threshold was the only thing that saved it last time. They will only be able to realistically get rid of it if they abolish the filibuster. Which would be a net win for Democrats, so they likely won't do it.

Apparently this mainly applies to grizzlies. Black bears with cubs may make a display but basically don't attack

The only bear I'd be concerned about was a bear with a cub. If you see one, you are already in danger. So I'd say single bear > woman > man >>> bear with cub
