I'm doing dactyl manuform first time (also my first ergo. keebs). Buying parts, soldering, wiring matrix like instruction. When i plugged in computer and flashing firmware, it only respond D, F, Space keys

I don't know why it doesn't work like it supposed to be, i have unpluged the pro micro, plugged and flash firmware again, and the problem is still there

Can someone see what wrong with my wiring?

I have read about some guides and in the progress doing the dactyl manuform, and I have seen that many people used some tape called "kapton tape" or used some shells pulled out from the wire to seperate the columns and rows of the matrix.

I want to know that is it safe to use the electrical tape for this purpose because I have read some comments said that the electrical tape will melt and cause everything around it sticky.

Elite-C is not available in my country, so the shipping cost will be really expensive. I'm looking for cheaper option

  1. I have received a 3d printed dactyl manuform, and i have realized that most of parts used to hold the kailh hotswap socket is broken. So I want to know which glue is safe for plastic ( it will not melt the plastic ) and can be strong enough to prevent the socket from fly away from the case.
  2. Can I use Type-C USB 3-18V adruino instead of Pro Micro USB adruino? Because as what I can see, the specs of two adruinos written on the chip are nearly the same:

(-) Pro Micro USB adruino: ATMEGA32U4; -MU; 2147E; 2147YHE PH

(-) Type-C USB 3-18V: ATMEGA32U4; -MU; 2216E; 2216QG7 PH

I have do some research about doing dactyl manuform, and I see people mostly solder directly diodes and copper wire to the switch. So i want to know that if i build dactyl manuform with hotswap function, will there have some problems which can kill my board? And when comparing handwired and hotswap. which is easier to do if i'm a beginner? And another question: is reset buttons neccessary for this build? (because i saw many guides are always including this component)
