I know personally 3 people, 2 from work, one neighbor closely. Reasonable, pro equality in all fronts and not MAGA. We still don't agree on abortion (none of them want to ban abortion), guns (none think we should hand AR15s to anyone), how big the government should be. They don't like Trump, but don't want democrats. The "ALL republicans are racist/sexist" is absurd and that's what my last comments are about. While people on both sides demonize and make assumptions on the other side, this divide will keep getting bigger.

70,980,347 genocide lovers, counting me. I enthusiastically voted, not against a piece of crap of a person, but for genocide. Everyone republican is MAGA, every democrat has posters of dead palestinian kids in their walls. 32 bit colors is a waste, make everything black and white.

I wish. Actually I've seen some bitching turning the drop in democratic votes as "clear evidence" of 2020 cheating. That and conspiracy theories because Biden has been incredibly sharper after the debate (as in it was a conspiracy to take him out). It's hard to fight to not live in a bubble but holy crap the trumpettes and russian bots are very annoying.

Something some thinkpad users value a lot is the trackpoint. I'm seriously considering breaking a 4 thinkpad (3 X2x0, one X1 carbon) spree with a 13" framework but not having trackpoint is a big issue for me. I'm using the fact my X1 is still fast enough for my use to wait and hope for framework to get a trackpoint. There're more people in the same boat in framework's forums.

That I think it's the scariest thing we have right now: a lot of people that forgot we need to live together and trying to shove your ideology down others throats is not the way to go, no matter how right one believes to be.

I'm sure nothing that is happening has to do with Biden's plan on taxing harder the 1%...

I believe the same. Want it or not, Trump has the charisma that nobody else in the party does. And the luck. My only hope to stop the madness was to have Trump losing the election then dropping dead by natural causes after. That'd be safest way to take all his followers out of the spell. I really don't see any other way for his cult to end. Then the right wing extremists go back to hate in their closets and, if democrats are smart, keep having more moderate candidates like Biden and reign the extreme left as well.

I'd say PPF but it won't do a lot depending how the scratches happen. I myself gave up hope and humanity and park as far as I can from everybody, preferably in a corner where you keep one of the sides protected, parking as close as possible to that side to give as much room as possible from the exposed side. Just be careful to not scratch your wheels.
