I’m OOTL on DDG donations? What kinds of projects/people do they donate to, and how does that benefit pirates?

Id look into plex_debrid as well. Might not fit your use case, but it’s been great for me. It allows you to use a plex watchlist or overseer to search for movies, and torrents are found and added to your debrid. It can get multiple versions (1080p, 4k).

Mostly I use it because of the skip intro button I get from it, so might just be unnecessary overhead for others

Pretty sure AllDebrid (RealDebrid competitor) offers a 7 day free trial, might be worth a look

I’ve found almost no movies that have a 4k version I haven’t been able to get through the few most popular public trackers (133x, bitsearch etc). Atmos can be trickier, but I’ve consistently been able to find them. Dolby vision has almost always been available when applicable.

Post by beehaw admins

Basically, due to the size and open registrations on some large instances, Beehaw admins decided to defederate because they didn’t have the manpower or systems in place to deal with the large volume of content.

Have you been using the “Suggest less” button when they play? I found this very effective at removing similar artists I know I don’t like much.

BlackBerry (2023). Fantastic movie. Funny, interesting and partly true. Brilliantly paced as well, didn’t feel like 2 hours

Would you go back if they ousted spez, and reinstated mods that were removed?

Get a VPN to India or Turkey (there are likely a bunch of other countries too). It’s a lot cheaper: I pay around £1.50 (RS129) a month

In the UK, that’s the law when there’s no footpath. Highway Code says you should walk into oncoming traffic, moving to somewhere more visible on blind corners.
