And we all have to remember that motivation comes after your first positive experience or first positive interaction with something. Like if you're working out, first time lost and then uptick in that feel good drug your brain produces. First, you just have to get out there and do whatever it is you want to start doing, that's why starting is always the hardest part. Because there's no happy brain drug effect with just simply doing something, you have to get them positive result from it first, then motivation comes

Simple, you lose energy and get disoriented when changing direction. When flying in a circle, you're constantly changing direction and at an angle to the ground. So you are consistently being disoriented as well. So you're constantly on the throttle or have to rethrottle up to gain altitude doesn't make for constant holding pattern.
Well, a couple months ago there were nice reddit apps. If it weren't for that, lemmy would probably still be a ghost town. Now that being said, I'm happy I'm here and will continue to contribute and I'm so happy that I was able to get the username I did!
