It's very sad indeed that this is the "best". The only thing better would probably be specific youtubers who go get news sources for themselves. But I'm not aware of many.

Improvethenews is a collection of all news sources and provides all sides of an argument. This is one of the best news aggregators.

I'm unable to access the wiki for any sub-reddit and I get the "Forbidden" message. It may be for only some users, or all, I'm not sure. But I'm glad we have lemmy!

Half Life is awesome! If I had to choose from all the games I've played, the half life series has to be best in my opinion. I had that moment in Half Life Alyx: at Jeff. No game makes you feel genuine fear as that level did. You felt as you were there physically trying to escape from death. Best gaming experience ever!
Not a channel, but some resources. The addons are all open source. Also unfortunately many subreddits that had quality channel suggestions have been either banned due to being "unmoderated" or are lost to time. Please post any finds here or help archive them if you can. The Datahorders community is a great place to start!

Awesome! Thanks for this post by the way! It has been my favorite post to go through since I don't have a google account and can't use their recommendation system. Plus, the recommendation system definitely doesn't give us as high quality channels as some from this thread.
There are still hundreds if not thousands of hidden gems on YouTube. I'll come back to this post and share some as I rediscover them.
