I generally agree, but there are two addenda.

First: Even the worst should be burried with dignity, because their behaviour is not the standard by which we measure our actions. Nobody is so evil that they can take our will to be decent human beings. So we do the right thing (decent burrial) to spite evil.

Second: With dignity is not the same as "with reverence" or "with honor". In many cultures criminals are denied certain parts of funeral rites (like processions, official or acknowledged mourning periods). This reinforces social norms to the living (don't do the bad thing or you will be shunned by society) and can also prevent retraumatizing their victims. The most common form of this is not allowing to have their gravesite marked. This is done so that their family may have a place of grief (the unmarked grave) but to prevent the grave from becoming either a shrine to their followers or a target of defilement by the victims. A fairly well known example of the last part is Adolf Hitler who was properly buried in an unknown location and then a parking lot was put over the area with the possible grave sites.

I cant speak to CoD specifically, but being able to locate opponents, shots, activity etc by sound is a massive advantage in many multiplayer shooters. I can personally vouch for its relevance in CS, Apex Legends, Arma 2&3, The Finals, DayZ, and Battlefield.

Step 1. Think of a game that you loved 10+ years ago and you can't buy anymore (like Black & White, Need For Speed: Underground,...)

Step 2. Go to myabandonware.com and use the search function.

Step 3. Use Lutris to manage the installation process.

You won't get everything. But you will get a lot of things.

It's not lost if you are capable of going to myabandonware.com and using ~~Kurtis~~Lutris.

Good effort, regardless.

Wenn die Wurst zwei Enden hat, hat Pi eins (an der Seite wo es mit 3.14 aufhört). Pi ist Remmler-konsistent.

Just to be clear: Dutch people agree that rapists of 12 year old girls (such as the convicted child rapist van de Velde, who raped a 12 year old girl) should be punished and not go on to represent their country at the Olympics. There may however be old farts and creeps in positions of power that try to make excuses for convicted child rapist Van de Velde who believe a technicality over an unprovable state of mind matter when it comes to the damage caused by having a convicted child rapist represent your country both to the victim of convicted child rapist Van de Velde and to the reputation of the Netherlands.

TLDR: Convicted child rapist Van de Velde should be kicked off his team and the Member of the committee that thought it was relevant whether he is paedophile or not should resign. Both are a disgrace to the country and should not be used as representatives.

  1. I don't see how the supreme Court has jurisdiction over the candidate selection process for either party.
  2. The VP candidate is picked by the presidential nominee in both parties, so I don't see why Trump changing his pick should be an issue (other than to confirm 100% that he has 0 loyalty and waffles on even the most trivial issues).
  3. They are not gonna swap him out.
