Nothing more convoluted than the Microsoft Windows ecosystem.

It largely depends on whom you're asking. I think your average Midwest American doesn't know what it is. Or if they do, don't really care for it or like it. Lipton bagged black teas are their standard. Usually served with a lot of sugar and or lemon juice.

Arizona Tea company has a sweetened green tea that has been sold in major grocers and convenience stores for decades. It's very popular and is known for it's cherry blossom motif. I don't want to rag on them because I think they're a decent company, but it's sugar water and green tea might be loosely defined there.

Boba culture has made the younger generations aware of green tea. And they can give you a run for your money when it comes to cultural knowledge. But they would be largely clustered in urban and suburban neighborhoods.

In America, when I see a non-Asian person drinking a boba tea or even a Starbucks Matcha it warms my heart just a little.

At&t is migrating (tech and other white collar jobs) from California (a blue state) to Texas (a red state). Could Democrats do more? Of course! But let's not put out the image that it's the Democrats that are solely benefiting them or protecting them.

If anything it's been Republicans that have been giving them tax breaks for decades. After all they do get the bulk political contributions from these monopolistic ISP scum.

I just finished The Push by Ashley Audrain. It has me torn so I'm not sure what to make of it. I find myself repulsed but I also can't stop thinking about it. It's about motherhood but with a twisted, psychotic twist.

I just started In the Lives of Puppets by TJ Klune. I enjoyed their first book, but since then I've found their work a little formulaic. Hopefully this one is refreshing. The title and subject make it seem like YA but I find the jokes lewd enough for grown-ups so I guess I am enjoying it so far.

Profit at the expense of people. A mindset we need to change.

Not to mention that it coined the phrase "Make America Great Again" that was used by a fascist politician in the book.

You pretty much gotta make up the Elden Ring lore, so Elden Ring players have a lot of practice.

I remember playing this series on MAME years ago. Really cool. Wish I had the space to build a MAME arcade machine. I would totally love to get back into these games.
