I was specifically taking about office pcs. People sitting in front of those office pcs have better things to worry about. Their interaction with the linux os is clicking that giant chrome icon and they do whatever the IT guy taught them.

How will they run adobe apps and play popular multiplayer games like cod, valorant, siege, finals, league of legends, EFT? How will they subscribe to game pass? How can they watch netflix 4k?

5ghz wifi not working is a known problem. I had the same issue with multiple distros on a hp laptop. But i installed windows 11 and everything worked perfectly, even the trackpad for some reason felt better than in linux. Everything was taken care by windows updates.
What good does a good code base do when it cant run popular games and apps like cod, valorant, siege, league of legends, destiny, adobe apps etc? On windows everything just works even though it is not transparent or open source.
Linux numbers are overinflated by govt office pc running linux. All they require is just a chrome browser.
No one complains about ios/android requiring a login.
Until you realise it is mostly steam deck and indian govt office pc running linux.
