I have a second-grade memory of my teacher asking, "Are you kids playing doctor?" while we played with this in the classroom.

If you aren't familiar with the expression, "playing doctor" is the classic, "I'll show you mine if you show me yours".

Now they're made of dense plastic. My kid calls them the Ow-Ow toy, because I'd hit my arm while showing him how to make it clack at the bottom and top. Ow, ow, ow.

They are definitely a thing, but I don't know anybody who has tried them. I did work with a guy who says his friend tried it, but idk. Definitely a thing.

I checked. I can't verify the pic, so I'm removing it. Dang. Also it looks like a spanish dancer is a sea slug, not a jelly, but they are real. Just not this one, maybe.

Hormonal fluctuations have been shown to affect symptoms. You* can talk to your doctor about a small bump up in meds for when you are most affected. I can't remember if it's just before a period or during that symptoms get worse. I recommend tracking your period and making notes of when it's worse for you. Menopause is crazy for many reasons, but defo for ADHD.

*Anyone who has a period.
