I didn’t know that. Yet another reason to love Apollo.

Apollo’s video and gif player was so good. Scrub anywhere you want, fast loading, and compared to the official Reddit app — it actually worked.

It’s such a pain to land on Reddit pages on mobile. There’s the constant bottom sheet asking to download the app or continue on your browser. Apollo had a native deep link into the app. It was great.

I only tried it briefly and I was amazed how native it felt. I’m trying Lemmy right now and it’s off to a great start.
