I had the 2009 Sportback when it first came out. I loved that thing. 7 years later, it still ran perfectly with zero rust.

This is amazing looking, are they all hand built? If anyone at Janus wants to do an AMA with our tiny (but growing fast) community, that would be incredible.

We were 400ish last night and hit 530 overnight, not sure what's driving so much traffic here, but I'm not complaining!

I've never wanted an R1 so bad in my life.

He shifted into 1st with the kickstand down, so it kills the engine. It's a safety feature.

You can plant dandelions in your animal pens for extra food. It really helps early game when you're struggling with hay production.

Is it bolted into the plate at the back? I've got a soft bag bungied onto mine.

Maybe an owner can give you better advice, but considering they're in the same category (midsized adv) just pick the one that looks the nicest. Every time you open the garage door you want to get excited.

In terms of reliability and performance, I think they're almost the same. One might be more comfortable, depending on your height/weight/inseam.

KLRs are famous for having the seat and fairing bolts back out on their own (vibration). So you either blue loctite them, or replace them after they go missing. Some guys don't even know the seat bolts are missing.

Still a perfect trail bike. I have the spiritual successor (KLX300R) but that KDX was just magical.

I loved this book series. I hope they don't softball on the Chinese cultural revolution parts.
