It's not the same effect. Then the sauce will be salted, and the pasta will maybe absorb some of that salt.

But, in my opinion, that's an inelegant solution.

I personally do not want any more salt in the pasta sauce than what's already in there. I do, however, want my pasta to take in a little salt from the water.

For those reasons, I add a little salt to my water as it's boiling

I just might have to look into that

No worries, while I agree it's good to support FOSS alternatives...

A lot of software development is commercially driven, and that's not a bad thing.

I have my own work checklists, similarly to you. I just open a new page in a physical notebook every day for all the things we don't track on the sprint board, but I'm responsible for getting done regardless.

I feel you on that last part. In fact, the reason I've been going the extra mile and making little reminders for myself is because I'm letting that first hit creep a little closer to 3pm than the normal 5pm lmao.

I have found that it really really helps to keep a notebook and keep a running list per day of all the things I HAVE to do that day

I work as a developer/ cloud IT engineer. All day long people mention something in meetings or I need to check the uptime/status of a particular asset. It was getting to be too much to keep track of every little thing I had to do.

I eventually settled for writing down things mentioned to me, or things that I'm reminded of. The vast majority of my work I remember, don't need to write down to keep track of.

Glancing over this, I get that it's incredibly vague advice. But following a version of this, and starting a new page every day, has really helped me keep track of things.

Very happy interesting for sure

Right for me

Hey listen.

You don't know me and vice versa.

I cannot recommend The Expanse show any more strongly. There's a lot of care put into the physics, world building, and characters. The whole show really is a grand ride.

I would say try watching an episode or two. But in reality a lot of the first two episodes are setup. They're amazing, but you're still being introduced to the world. By the end of episode 4, I promise you'll be hooked.

I'm terribly sorry.

Speaking as someone who is very left-leaning, I was thrilled to hear that Australia finally voted in a more liberal government.

I truly hope they're able to keep the majority.

I read the collection of this manga at some random school library years and years ago, and something about th visual noir style and the detective story set in a manga seared itself into my young brain.

I'm actually waiting to see the anime before going back to reread the manga to see how much mumy experience of the media has changed over the years.

We suffer these same problems in the US.

If you're really comparing LLM's to your Encarta cd from 1995 and saying the Encarta CD was the superior experience...

I'm afraid there's not much left for us to discuss.... Our views are too far apart.

Nah, nah to your understanding of LLM's

No it's not true intelligence. Yes, it makes humans much faster at their work

It has really sped up my work, especially when coding in unfamiliar languages.

It's silly to compare it to a parlor trick or text prediction.
