That's due to a lawsuit for copyrights... Google settled and made so users couldn't download the image from the Google app, they need to visit the site

I love it and I'm not disappointed!
Battery is enough for MY entire day, I charge with an 18w brick so don't use super fast charging, the modem has improved a lot to the point I'm not worried about signal lost any more

Post complaining about Meta collecting too much data from its users but Tiktok which has much more users than Threads and almost the same as FB doesnt get the same amount of complains, and when it does people shrugged off saying "at least is not owned by an US company" implying some would rather give their data to a chinese company.
Back button/gesture has always function as back to the previous page on Chrome, but it doesn't have a history like on desktop (right click back)
It's probably because Threads is made entirely with JetpackCompose
Because the actual good content is on those networks
