Repeat their name a few times. Intentionally use it in sentences.

Also just accept the awkwardness and ask people their names later. No one cares. It's fine.

Tomorrow many subreddits will open up again, will you switch back to Reddit or stay on Lemmy (or use both) in c/lemmyworld

Gonna work on reducing my reddit use while I find enough places here to fill all those little brain-itch niches.

Hopefully phase out reddit eventually. But not immediately.

Ok so far. Only complaint is posts moving when new posts get added while I'm in the middle of scrolling. It's a little clunky.

Edit: After a few hours of using I have a second complaint, searching/sub discovery is a little undercooked feeling. It's a bit sticky to figure out what communities exist, what they exist under and how to navigate around to them. I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually but it currently doesn't feel great.

Depends on the quality of the filters really. Also helps if you put a shroud on the box fan so you don't have backflow around the corners.
