The "middle class" was just a scam our ruling class came up with to make us feel like we're not at the bottom rung of the social economic ladder so we wouldn't riot over being taken advantage of for decades. In reality there are only two classes the extremely rich and the poor.

Amen to that Brother Reverend! I love when there is nothing to do. It is so liberating. But after a day or two I start to feel guilty I'm not being a productive member of society.

It's been working out for the rich and powerful so far. Why wouldn't it work for us too?

I agree. I'm playing through part 2 right now, as I just finished part 1 a few days ago. I have to say so far part 2 is really good but it's just lacking something that part 1 had. I think my biggest issue is Corvo having a voice. I didn't think it would bother me but considering he is totally silent in the first game, him talking to himself in part 2 is just jarring. I probably should have played as Emily instead.

Absolutely! Unfortunately they're will be sacrifices and some of those sacrifices might be leaders in the resistance group. That will sometimes hurt the cause and other times it could benefit the cause.

True but we're not just talking about one martyr. It would be dozens if not hundreds. Much more difficult to keep a lid on it.

I guess it depends on the individual and what they want out of life? If the goal is to just survive then pretending to go along is probably for the best. I suppose when talking about revolution anything that slows down the machine is beneficial

I disagree. Pretending to comply is just as good to them as compliance. They don't actually care about someone getting an abortion, but they do care about the message it sends to the masses. By saying no and leaving them with no option but to use physical force we are showing the cracks in that agenda/message. Those cracks will grow and encourage others to stand up and say no. Once that happens the entire foundation of it falls apart because people aren't afraid anymore. Sure a few of us will be beaten, killed, jailed, even publicly executed. But as OP said they can't stop us all.

This is the first time I've ever seen any one in the wild mention Pat the Bunny. Painfully under appreciated.

This machine pulls in 36,000 tons of carbon per year, our average carbon output is about 36 billion tons per year, so you'd need to build a million of these to offset our current output.

Reversing the last century of emissions is interesting because we would likely have to carefully monitor and adjust how much we pull in as we go along because any dramatic changes could have serious climate consequences.
