In Dolphin, right-click on one or more files and you can "link" them to an Activity, then display them on the desktop (or any Folder View widgets).

It's a way to reorganize files that transcends the file system hierarchy of folders 😄

Plasma Wayland session supports Nvidia cards and I don't see why you just don't try to reproduce the bug in the Wayland session and leave it when you want...

You just need to logout and login with the Wayland session, maybe with another user...

KDE is a community that uses, contribute to and extend the Qt framework, that is an industry standard, tons of software is developed with it 🙂
