overview for akaxaka

I feel like the whole kbin UI is very convoluted. It's hard to find a view that shows only posts from my subscribed subs. The create post button is super far away from the actual sub. What even is a M in c/[email protected]

I agree on your points - the UI needs some tweaks…but I still likelier more than the standard Lemmy interface.

I’m sure the competition between the two (& the many apps) will lead to both Kbin and Lemmy ending up with terrific interfaces.

How do you get Memmy to work with Kbin?

Well, a bunch of the old 3rd party Twitter devs (& new devs) made a bunch of excellent Mastodon apps. If you use those, the experience is excellent.

My personal fav is IceCubes, but Radiant or Ivory are also great.

We might see some of those devs branch out into Threadiverse apps/UI

At the time the Kbin web interface seems more polished & the community/magazine styling options more advanced.

Lemmy looks good too, and both are making tremendous progress, along with all the different clients in progress right now.

We’ve tried reaching out to the creator of this community, but no luck so far - the original mods of the /r/Amsterdam subreddit have set up a Threadiverse version over at Kbin.

Ben beniewd of ook accounts van buiten feddit.nl mods kunnen zijn van een feddit.nl site....maar daar komen we wel uit!
