Is this guy just a little ass fly hanging around Trump's crappy nappy or something?

I've been thinking about this lineup since last night and I think it might be why I never really got into Metallica or Slayer either. Risking controversy here but as much as I love the thrash sound, those early bands all kinda come across as macho meatheads a little bit to me. The kind of people that beat up kids that listened to heavy metal back in school. And a lot of the older fans of these bands that were around when I was just starting to go to metal clubs and shit gave me those vibes too.
So I'm not sure what Black Sabbath's excuse is but the rest here seem kinda like birds of a feather to me.
Any niche communities for TV shows and entertainment. Something nice about Reddit is that you can look up any random TV show, even obscure shit you watched as a kid that no one talks about anywhere else, and you'll probably find a community posting memes and fan theories and reviews about it.
It's probably gonna take a long time though because there's no exodus happening to here because Reddit banned all the TV show subs. It's just gonna probably get more political and angry here every time there's an exodus.
Thanks! I might skip through some of it, or else I feel like I'm probably only going to catch up to 2025 by 2026 lol. But I see now it is worth checking out, even not just for title matches. Coming up to a tag match with SLK & Tam Nakano in a team, which I guess advances that story I saw start in Queendom. And honestly I think I'm kinda liking the no commentary.
I need to ask just one more question if you don't mind lol. Just started watching 'GoldenWeek'. I don't think I saw this listed (amongst a couple of other things here) on that Wikipedia page. And on the steam I'm watching at least, there's no commentary or match graphics / stats. And the sound quality is pretty weird, like the ring is loud and you can even hear the vinyl of their ring gear squeaking. At least in this first match I'm watching so far.
Are these kinds of shows basically just house shows that they've recorded? Or should I expect any story and rivalry developments here?
Oh look, the kiddie fiddlers and book burners that accuse others of being pedos and anti free speech are accusing people of things again.
Nice, thanks for all the info. And I've actually just found another 'watch-wrestling' website (this one with a hyphen) that has Stardom and a lot more Japanese stuff on offer than the old watchwrestling website I've been using. And it seems to list everything here in a handy chronological list. So looks like I'm set.
Nice! I'm honestly itching to get to the rest of it now. Thought I'd start catching up with NXT but I'm just in the mood for more Stardom at this point.
If you don't mind me asking a quick question. I've made myself a quick list of all the big events from where I am to current day based on this Wikipedia page, while ignoring any results as best I could. Looks like a good excuse to catch a NJPW show here and there and finally check out Rev Pro. Then apart from the big events, from what I've gathered their weekly show is 'We Are Stardom!!' and that runs on weekends? Am I correct with that and is this basically everything I need to know?
I know that the Firefox subreddit was doing this a couple of years ago. Although I half suspect that they were using swear words as an excuse to remove any criticism of Firefox. And after multiple run ins with them and messaging them to ask why my comment was removed (no swearing isn't actually a listed rule in the sidebar), I'm pretty sure they just started doing it for shits and giggles too.
The last straw for me was when someone mentioned an old app and I said "holy crap, I remember that app!" Checked a couple minutes later in reveddit (which had become a habit when posting in Firefox) and sure enough, my comment was removed. That was the last time I ever went near that sub.
Just finished. A 5 hour runtime (minus two pre show matches) is actually pretty brutal, so I ended up taking multiple breaks. But I'm definitely in. It has everything from flippy rookies to hoss legends and in between.
Realised that Oedo Tai aren't simply trouble causers and tweeners but full heels (although cool heels). So I'm probably going to be loving to hate them. Kinda pissed with them now after the way they turned on Starlight Kid lol.
I've got quite a few first impression favourites so far. Although I haven't looked up translations or too much info yet, so I don't really know them yet. I don't want to spoil current storylines or champs before I get there, so I guess I'm just gonna go low information for now. But it's enough to hook me. Now I just hope it's not going to be too much trouble looking for shows between then and now.
Me too
Interesting version of Brainiac. Seems to be a mashup of his original Silver Age history but twisted into something original. In the Silver Age he also came from Colu (at one point his origin was that he was created by the 'Computer Tyrants' of Colu, it's unclear if they are the creators of Brainiac's race in this origin story that we got though) and had a 'son' called Vril Dox / Brainiac 2, although this son was assigned to him by the Computer Tyrants in order to make him appear more like an organic lifeform than a robot.
In this version, it seems that Brainiac's original name was Vril and that he created his own son, Vril 2. I wonder if he also created his wife lol. Or if the Computer Tyrants were the ones running Colu and creating the robots.
I haven't actually read Silver Age Brainiac stuff, just going with info from Wikipedia.
