I do not know, sorry. I just wanted to point him out in general as he is my other go-to on YouTube.

Though there is a third that might be useful for your players to understand certain parts of the system. Frizz is the name.

He does short, generally very focused videos. I know you are converting your whole group, so I figure a bit of extra help could be useful.

The Rules Lawyer is also pretty good, though his delivery is a bit drier.

Some of the rage powers make it a bit more complex, like a feat that lets you use a rage-tagged ability for free when you activate rage, etc.

Playing with free archetype almost inevitably requires making house rules to accommodate it. You level 4 issue can actually start at level 2, as there are sub-classes that can grant a multiclass dedication feat as a class feature, and at least 1 racial feat that can grant a multiclass dedication.

This is awesome tech. Unfortunately mutt gaming group is scattered, so I won't be able too use it, but I hope lots of others can!

No, I'm doing it for a distance game. But with everyone on the discord, they just ping me if they want to work with a character, and I always set aside extra time during level-up to make sure everyone is good to go.

I have heard of people using Foundry (and other VTTs) for table games. You create 2 logins, DM logs in to his via the Foundry app, and the other is logged into through a browser and displays on a big monitor (possibly laid horizontally if you have the money to mod a table and have a glass insert). Control of the party token(s) will depend on the setup. If both monitors are being used by the DM's computer, the DM controls the party map directly, otherwise one of the players logs in on the second PC and controls the party tokens.

There are a lot of variations.

Wait, I posted ... Oh, it's you again. :) unfortunately I can't help here, I use a VTT, so I don't need an external builder.

Well, I suppose I could use one, but it feels easier to spin up the VTT if I want to play with builds. That's what I get for GMing and hosting

I was having issues, and it looks like no one was able to post or anything for a couple of days.

If I can level steadily, I'd probably pick druid to get the stop-aging feat, presuming that it means indefinite life span.

If the druid feat does not work that way, then I'd probably pick elf for my race.

But if it does, then I'd be tempted to go human and get the dragon related lineage.

If I can pick third party, then I might just go straight to dragon instead. :)

Though part of me wants to do kitsune with dragon-scion heritage, just to be very Extra. 😃

Another Foundry + A/V on discord.

I also use discord for game related threads.

I've recently discovered a similar program called Guilded, which seems to have all the same important creatures of discord, but better organized (and a larger file share limit). We have not moved over, but I've been spinning up and organizing a server there, just in case Discord craps the bed like Reddit did.

What other instances are you in? I've got a login in Mander and Beehaw as well.

Heh, I was confused a moment. Then I realized it was my doppelganger speaking for me once more. :P
