It seems like Lemmy's picking up anyhow. I was here a bit ago before the Reddit sale and opted not to stay as the activity here seemed sparse. I've come back recently as I've noticed a disturbing trend at Reddit after their sale where commenters/upvoters suddenly have a "more positive" take on tech and AI, and there's increased bashing on commentors who express concerns about the future (particularly if it's AI-related). This happened heavily in subs where there was either a very balanced view or heightened lean towards concern for the future. I have one private sub I regularly visit, but after some lurking, I'm considering migrating to here and Diggit permanently.
