Ligue 1 might really suit him. Hopefully he can get back into his legendary form.
Arteta wants all arsenal players to be awesome at more than one position. If he’s sees Balogun fitting within that framework he’ll keep him. Lets him concentrate on building a midfield.
If they sell a few players they might make another huge bid for Caisado
