Wait, you can totally do co-op in Monster Hunter Rise, just not the village quests. Most the real story happens in the Hub quest lines anyway.

Personally I think Lovecraft having these issues makes him a more fascinating author to me. The fear of otherness is so prevalent in his work, it's like looking directly into his soul

Yeah I'm definitely not holding out any hope for a PC port, Vanillaware seems pretty dedicated to not doing those
