That rule was added in the 1950's.

The founders were a gentleman's club. Which is basically a fraternity. They made up rules that made sense to a bunch of frat boy farmers with enlightenment libraries.

Dems won the house in 2020. They lost it in 2022 midterms. Biden deserves the star.

He's not. He's 80 years old and got going when kissing babies was good retail politics. He whispers to children because he has lost 3 of his 4 children and his first wife and he knows how precious children and families are.

But the New York times wrote an article about him as a teacher in 2006 the year he first ran for Congress.

Walz didn't run in the primary.

Our choice was biden, some blue dog conservative Dem from Minnesota, or rfk.

Biden was the best of the lot.

He has at least 2 pensions. I think congresspeople and governors probably get something too.

He will be fine, with his teachers pension, and his national guard pension, and his congressional pension, and his governor's pension, and probably his vice president pension.

I read that he doesn't want to take his shot at the White House. If Harris wins the election he plans to retire after her second term. She didn't want a veep who saw her as a stepping stone to the Oval Office.

Whether that is wise we will figure out on 2028 (hopefully) but if it's true it provides some context.
