#Important:

To use the new builds you need to use new Micro G versions. First you need to uninstall your old Micro G version. Then you need to install one of the 3 versions listed below:

After you've done that make sure to disable Battery Optimizations.

Compiled on RVX Manager v1.20.2 (inotia00) with Revanced Extended patches v4.8.0-dev.6. You can also patch the apps yourself but if you don't have time for it, simply don't want to do it or don't know how to do it you can use my builds.

Youtube RVX v19.16.39:

To fix the playback issues use the latest YouTube RVX Build and try to enable the following features:

  • My profile -> Settings -> ReVanced Extended -> Miscellaneous -> Experimental Flags -> Spoof format stream data (Enable this first and test if it works if it doesn't try the second feature and disable this one again)
  • My profile -> Settings -> ReVanced Extended -> Miscellaneous -> Experimental Flags -> Spoof test client (This feature should work but it will break a lot of YouTube features if it also doesn't work or you don't want to loose any YouTube features check out this post)

YT Music RVX v6.51.52:

In version 6.31.55 YouTube removed the Old Layout Code so any version over 6.29.58 can't revert to the old Layout anymore

I did this because you can't watch any videos on them anymore because YouTube changed how Videos are being tracked and the only fix would be to use the Micro G versions which don't work with the currently outdated patches by Inotia though. If anybody still wants to download the latest RVX versions for whatever reason you can still do that on this post all the versions before that post won't be downloadable anymore though. For anybody that still has these builds installed update to ReX or switch back to original ReVanced.

Warning: Do not use MicroG RE atm It hasn't been updated to fix the playback issue yet an update should come out soon but as long as the latest release is v5.3 or lower it won't work in the meantime use GmsCore from ReVanced or YT-Advanced.

What's a good phone now that doesn't force ads on me? in c/android

I'm currently using a Moto Edge 30 Ultra it's basically completely AOSP Android the only stuff that's pre-installed are the Moto Apps that are actually useful for the phone which also don't have any ads and the phone has way better performance than all my stupid Samsung Exynos phones. So Motorola would be very good for what you're looking for. If you don't want to go with Motorola though I would recommend Sony or Fairphone.

When updating from YouTube v18.33.40 or lower to YouTube v18.34.xx or later, a clean install is recommended. To import and export your Settings just tap your profile picture -> Settings -> ReVanced Extended -> Miscellaneous -> Export/Import.

Download:

Information:

  • Ensure that your device is on the stock ROM.
  • No data loss or factory reset is required.
  • The update will not alter your device update channel.
  • No Root is required.

Installation:

  • Download the zip and copy it to: INTERNAL STORAGE -> ANDROID -> DATA -> COM.MOTOROLA.CCC.OTA -> FILES (with a Desktop or OTG)
  • Navigate to update settings.
  • The system will automatically reboot and the update will be installed.

Yeah they definitely lost me as well for a long time now.

Reasons:

  • Shit Marketing/Shitty Launch Events
  • Copying Apple (Removing headphone jack, IR scanner, removable backcovers etc.)
  • No real innovation other than the Fold/Flip Series anymore (Still no real fast charging but charging an insane money for their devices etc.)
  • Putting the Exynos chip even in their flagships (Snapdragon is way better than the Exynos Chips it's basically a scam if they sell the same model with a way worse chip that costs the same)
  • Putting intrusive ads on the set-up screen, making it easy for service providers to install random apps, Always trying to get you to use their apps (this not only happens on the A-Series instead also on the Flagships)
  • Producing the A-Series that the iSheeps will most of the time refer to when comparing the newest iPhone to Android (The A-Series phones are the most shitty phones you can ever use)
  • That they merged the Note-Series into the S-Series
  • More and more Bloatware installed right out of the box
  • Their new Galaxy AI (which they didn't call Galaxy Brain) runs mostly not even on device and they'll charge you for it in 2025 when they instead just could have said "We'll let you use the On-Device AI Features for free but the Online Features will cost 4.99€/month/We'll let you use the On-Device AI Features for free but the Online Features will only be free for 2 weeks after you bought the S24 Ultra from our Website after that time period you need to pay 4.99€/month for the online features" or they could've waited a bit longer to develop the AI for fully On-Device use and everyone would've been happy. Also that they advertised it as it would be an S24 Ultra exclusive is insane since not only the S24 Ultra gets it.

For anybody who comes across this buy phones by the following companies instead of a Samsung:

  • Sony
  • Google Pixel
  • Nothing
  • Motorola

Samsung needs a new Marketing Team they never promote actual cool useful features instead they only present one singular new feature for over an hour. Also they shouldn't adapt to Apple every time they remove a feature since it hurts their uniqueness image. Also they shouldn't use their Exynos Chips anymore they're so out of date compared to the Snapdragon Chips.

The Ultra version? Having the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra atm it's way better than I expected shits on Samsung in every way. Though since I don't think Motorola will release another Edge Ultra next year I'm gonna switch to Sony's High End devices since they have great build quality, cameras, no Bloatware and aren't made in China.

You can just use VoIP to call people it's not a big deal and you don't need to go the extreme ways which are being mentioned in the video you can also just spoof a lot of your device information, use a different OS etc. Minimizing privacy risks is always good but you don't need to take it that crazy serious if you're just a normal individual like me and you. We are low-value for big companies the more power, known you are the more steps you should take to protect your privacy.

Been using it for half a year I really like it because they haven't had any big controversy, they have all the features that I need and their business is located pretty close to where I live.

Well if you've ever patched with Revancify for example you know that some patches have options that you can configure to create a more personalized YouTube mod for you. Now you can also do it on the ReVanced Manager itself.
