Dream home - sucks, easy to pay off and not worth it

Wanted - meh there are enough ship battles as is.

3rd one I don’t even remember so I’m really kicking myself especially if I can’t repick these on ng+

Makes me wonder how big the mountain was before it all eroded over the structures

I have been trying to avoid everything until I get my hands on the game but I decided to bite and read this. Great write up and I’m super glad I read this one. Thank you.

Article has a paywall so here you go.

Stetson Bennett had a large contingent of Rams fans excited after his preseason debut against the Chargers two weeks ago but the tide is quickly turning for the rookie quarterback. He threw a pick against the Raiders in Week 2 of the preseason and in the first half against the Broncos on Saturday night, things got even worse.

Bennett completed 4 of 9 passes for 19 yards, throwing two interceptions and taking one sack. He completed nearly as many passes to the Broncos (2) as he did to his Rams teammates (4), which is never a good sign.

The interceptions weren’t exactly deep shots where he was trying to be aggressive, either. They were terrible decisions where he stared down the receiver and threw into tight coverage without seeing the underneath defenders.

Fans on social media were frustrated by Bennett’s performance and they’re suddenly losing faith in the backup quarterback.

Stetson Bennett may only make the roster because the team is hanging onto a fourth round pick and isn’t contending. There’s no way he can play against players who will make an NFL roster. I applaud Maurice Jones-Drew for spinning everything as a positive though.

Stetson Bennett was seen as a 5th-6th rounder by some draft experts.

He has 4 INTs now in the preseason. Meanwhile, DTR and Aidan O'Connell performing well and were taken after Bennett. Still way too early obviously, but worth mentioning.

I don’t want to see anymore nonsense about Stetson Bennett being the future of this franchise ever again.

Stetson Bennett has been a turnover machine the past few weeks

My week 6 predication of Stetson Bennett being a Used Car Salesman may have been a little off

He could be dropped by week 1 pic.twitter.com/oR3Mosvu3O

Stetson Bennett is going to lead the league in INTs one day!!! But hey keep calling him the future of Rams QBs 🫠

Stetson Bennett needs to be better. pic.twitter.com/bVpLZeMMk1

Rams should’ve taken DTR instead of Stetson Bennett

Yeah I’m with you the only trade I would Really like to see is one that sends marisnick packing.

Trade partner: Chicago White Sox Targets: RHP Lucas Giolito, RHP Kendall Graveman, SS Tim Anderson

The Dodgers have the second-best record in the National League, but they understand they’ll probably be in a pennant race until the bitter end with the Diamondbacks and Giants, and maybe even the Padres if they get hot. The Dodgers have a pressing need to improve their pitching staff, both the rotation and the bullpen. Their starters rank ninth in the NL in collective ERA and their bullpen ranks 10th. The Dodgers also could use an upgrade at shortstop. They are an obvious trade match with the White Sox, who have players to fit all three needs.

Giolito will be a free agent after this season, and the White Sox are going to move him by the deadline. He struggled in his last outing against the Mets, allowing eight runs in 3 2/3 innings, but has posted a 3.96 ERA in 20 starts and been worth 2.3 WAR, according to Baseball Reference. He grew up in Southern California, so might also be willing to sign a long-term contract with Los Angeles in the offseason. Graveman, who is signed through 2024, would give the Dodgers another back-end type reliever. He’s logged a 3.07 ERA in 42 appearances with eight saves in as many opportunities. The final piece that would make sense for Los Angeles is Tim Anderson, who’s having a down year, batting .231/.268/.271 with only 11 extra-base hits in 313 plate appearances. However, a change of scenery might be what he needs. Last year he hit .301 in 79 games and was a perfect 13-for-13 in stolen-base attempts. Anderson has a $14 million team option for 2024.

In return, the Dodgers could offer one of their top two catching prospects, Diego Cartaya or Dalton Rushing, as the headliner, along with one of their second-base prospects, Jorbit Vivas or Rayne Doncon, and a starting pitching prospect such as Gavin Stone or Michael Grove. Other prospect combinations could work. The Dodgers’ system is so deep there are many variations to make a deal like this work for both sides.

I’m the minority on this show mostly because I did not follow it before it released and came into the show with zero hype and low expectations. I enjoyed it and am confident they will build on it and have an even better product with season 2

[–] TheeBert 3 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Dang it I don’t have time to finish 2 point campus before the 31st. I feel like we just got that game

[–] TheeBert 2 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Yeah I can do that. I’ve never been a mod before but I’ll try my best

The fact that Sheehan was able to hang in and get the dub was pretty impressive

Really excited to see vesia killin it. His pitching since coming back from IL has been nails. Need beuhler to come back strong so we can send Thor packing

Dave Roberts clarified after the contest that the quick hook wasn't due to an injury. "You could see Tony kind of battling with the humidity, the feel of the baseball. When you're looking down at a fresh 'pen, for me it was a no-brainer on shortening him right there as far as pitch count," Roberts stated, per Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. Ardaya adds that Gonsolin himself stated that he "couldn't get a good grip on the ball," so there doesn't seem to be any concern about the right-hander's health.

Not ideal.

The Dodgers are interested in White Sox RHP Lucas Giolito, one of the top available pitchers, sources say.

Giolito, who went to high school in LA, has a 3.45 ERA this year. The Dodgers have an @MLB-best 9 of the industry’s top 100 prospects, per @MLBPipeline.

The Dodgers with probably the biggest surprise of the draft so far, taking Texas HS OF Kendall George with the 36th overall pick.

George ranked No. 114 on the BA Top 500. He's an undersized, speedy center fielder who most teams had in the 3rd-5th round range.
